QNU: Ratios Save Lives Campaign


The Queensland Nurses Union (QNU) came to Campaign Edge to help them refresh and reinvigorate their Ratios Save Lives campaign after the QLD state election. The campaign called for increased nurse to patient ratios and skill mixes, in both hospitals and aged care facilities. We worked with their campaign team to develop a refreshed brand, design new materials and messaging, and to create a central TV and radio advertisement that ran over a month, targeted at their audience via a precise TV, radio, cinema and digital media buy. The refreshed campaign put pressure on the Palaszczuk Governement to keep their promise, resulting in an announcement in July to invest $212.3 million over four years to increase patient safety by implementing minimum nurse to patient ratios.
