People living with dementia often face harsh judgements made against them. And many face discrimination each day because of people’s negative attitudes.

They can be ignored by family and friends. Not invited to events. And spoken down to like they’re just not there. Often, people think the symptoms are the person.

Campaign Edge worked with Dementia Australia to develop a campaign to show Australian’s that dementia is a condition affecting the brain, it’s not a reflection of a person’s character.

At the end of the day, dementia is what people have, it’s not who they are.

The emotive ad campaign was executed on Connect and Catch Up TV and social media through July and August.
