Working with ETU National, ETU Victoria and CFMEU Construction, Campaign Edge developed an integrated national campaign to stop the Federal Government’s anti-worker OmniBus Bill.
The OmniBus Bill proposed by the Government would have made it easier for employers to cut wages & conditions, as well as lock workers into unfair agreements on greenfield sites for up to eight years.
With Scott Morrison at the wheel, workers were at risk of being run over by the Government’s OmniBus.
The integrated campaign was rolled out across TV, radio, print, social media, online and outdoor nationwide.
- The Omnibus Bill was defeated in the Senate with only 1 out of 5 parts of the Bill passing
- A total of 108,940 emails sent to crossbench Senators asking them to vote against the Bill, with a 63% conversion rate on the website
- Reached 1.2 million people on Facebook who saw the campaign an average of 5 times
