Universal Street Games

Working with our client ADK in Tokyo we undertook the challenge of creating a major worldwide youth-focused brand campaign for Toyota Global.

The campaign, Universal Street Games, was a global competition for the world’s best street sport, dance, and music performers. Entrants were asked to enter videos to a purpose built campaign site where the world can vote to send the performers to perform live at the Summer X Games in the USA.

As the digital agency for the campaign, we created the channels, website, mobile apps (ios and android), social content, and creative for the Toyota Universal Street Games competition.

By the end of the 14-week campaign period we had achieved:

  • over 2.1 million shares, likes, and comments
  • 965,000 website visitors
  • 800 performer entries
  • 67,000 individual votes
  • Live final watched by 28,000 viewers on Facebook and the website

And we did it all in 5 languages.
